The Southern Nevada District will hold a virtual information forum to involve the public in the early stages of a proposed Recreation Area Management Plan for the Calico Basin area on March 11.
The Red Rock/Sloan Field Office is in the initial stages of identifying issues for the plan and invites the public to submit comments. The plan would guide future development and provide management direction for recreation resources within the Calico Basin Recreation Area, located in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
The information forum will be held online on March 11, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. PST. More information on the meeting is available at https://www.virtualpublicmeeting.com/calicobasinramp-home.
