Executive Director

Christina Bishop

Residing in Summerlin with her husband Todd and dog Allie, Christina Bishop is a Friend and neighbor of Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. Christina originally hails from Pittsburgh, where she and Todd raised their three kids before moving around the country and eventually settling in Las Vegas.
Christina loves spending time in Red Rock, and particularly enjoys off-roading and hiking. She is passionate about introducing friends and family to the outdoors, and delighted in taking her grandbaby to Calico Basin for the first time in June of 2023. Appreciating them all too much to choose one, Christina’s three favorite hikes are Bridge Mountain, Turtle Head, and Icebox Canyon.

Christina is thrilled to be working for and volunteering with Friends, and happy to be in a position to make a difference in a place that means so much to her.

Office & Finance Coordinator

Hilary Moorhead

It was a hike at Red Rock Canyon that sold Hilary on a cross-country move to Las Vegas in 2019 for her husband John’s career, and hiking quickly became the family’s main activity during the pandemic. When their daughter turned twelve, they all joined Friends as volunteers, and enjoy providing guests with tips at the Visitor Center and doing trail cleanups. To now be able to help Friends continue to grow and expand its positive impact is a dream job that allows her to use her years of experience in management consulting and start-up operations.

Corporate & Group Volunteer Coordinator

Wendie Drabant

Having lived in and around the Las Vegas area since she was 5 years old, Wendie Drabant has a deep respect and love for the Mojave Desert. Her educational and professional career has been focused on ways to best help people embrace their stewardship of natural resources and public lands. This is a message that she and her husband embrace as they raise two young boys to love the outdoors. Wendie loves combining her professional experience with one of her great passions to help support the BLM’s conservation efforts in RRCNCA.
