Journey through millions of years of Red Rock’s natural history! Children will print with seashells and dinosaur feet, work with paint and sand, and create texture as they learn about ancient seas, desert dunes, dinosaur tracks, shifting rock layers, erosion, and plant life. Create a small record of how Red Rock Canyon took shape over deep time!

Designed for children ages 6-12. Parents must stay with their children throughout the class. If parents would like to participate, they should complete a separate registration.

There is no fee to attend the workshop, but donations to Friends of Red Rock will be graciously accepted online or at the event.

Register for the workshop here.

Please note: Reservations will be required to enter the fee area (www.recreation.gov). Be prepared to pay the $20 daily fee or present a valid annual pass.
